Clean Water for a Healthier Future
Water Filtration Plants
(Installation of RO water plants)
Access to safe drinking water is a fundamental human right, yet today, two out of every three people in the world lack this essential resource. At PPHF, we are committed to bridging this gap through our Clean Water Projects, ensuring that communities in need have access to clean and safe drinking water.
Our Impact So Farz
PPHF has made a significant difference by:
- Installing over 20 water filtration plants in villages across the region.
- Providing access to safe drinking water for thousands of families.
- Promoting water hygiene education to reduce waterborne diseases.
These filtration plants have brought hope and health to communities, dramatically reducing cases of waterborne illnesses and enhancing the quality of life in the areas we serve.
Expanding Our Reach
Recognizing the urgent need, we have recently started an initiative to install additional filtration plants in Mandibahauddin, Pakistan, aiming to bring clean water to even more villages. Looking ahead, we aspire to expand our efforts to other underserved regions, ensuring no family is left without access to this basic necessity.
In the villages of Mandi Bahauddin District, Punjab, Pakistan, including Chak Raib, Gor Baksh Pura, Shumali Abadi, Kartarpur, Harbanspura, Chak Aminpura, Pind Baga, Chak B28, and Chot Dheeran, communities are battling hepatitis and other waterborne diseases due to the lack of access to clean water.
Recognizing this dire situation, the Pakistan Public Help Foundation (PPHF) has stepped in with a life-changing initiative. They are installing filtration plants to ensure safe drinking water for these vulnerable communities. Here’s the breakdown of the plants being installed:
One large and one small filtration plant in each of the following villages:
- Chak Raib
- Gor Baksh Pura
- Shumali Abadi
- Kartarpur
- Harbanspura
- Chak Aminpura
- Pind Baga
- Chak 28
Eight filtration plants (large and small) in Chot Dheeran village, which faces the most critical water crisis.
This initiative is a beacon of hope for thousands of people who have long suffered due to contaminated water sources. By providing access to clean water, PPHF is not only addressing immediate health concerns but also paving the way for a healthier, more sustainable future for these communities.
