Empowering Youth and Transforming Lives: PPHF's Remarkable Journey in Mandi Bahauddin
In the heart of Punjab, Pakistan, lies the district of Mandi Bahauddin, a region full of potential yet hindered by limited opportunities. The youth of this district have faced challenges including financial crises, lack of education, and limited avenues for skill development. Recognizing these barriers, the Pakistan Public Help Foundation (PPHF) launched a transformative initiative in 2017 to equip young individuals with the tools they need to build a better future.
PPHF’s mission extends beyond education by focusing on practical skill development to prepare youth for sustainable livelihoods. Training programs in areas such as beautician services, computer skills, and sewing have equipped participants with valuable expertise, while seminars on personal and professional development have enhanced their confidence and workplace
In addition to training, PPHF actively supports job placement. The foundation collaborates with local businesses, entrepreneurs, and industries to connect skilled youth with employment opportunities.
These efforts have allowed many to secure stable jobs, start small businesses, or work as freelancers, contributing to their financial independence and overall economic stability.
Since its inception, PPHF has reached over 1,000 young individuals, impacting not only their lives but also the well-being of their families. The organization’s IT skills programs have enabled participants to explore opportunities in today’s rapidly digitizing world, while its outreach to villages and towns has created widespread awareness and participation.
