Rising Generation School: A Beacon of Hope
In 2017, PPHF established the Rising Generation School in Chot Dheeran, MBD. This institution serves both children and adults, offering a full spectrum of education from Playgroup to 12th Grade. Over 500 students have successfully passed higher secondary education through this initiative.
Beyond academics, our students gain practical skills, such as sewing and beauty care, enabling them to earn a livelihood and improve their quality of life. Many of these students were previously engaged in labor work or sitting idle at home, but through our efforts, they have transformed their futures.
The school continues to operate successfully, shaping the next generation of leaders and skilled professionals.
National Rural Support Mazdoor Bahali Program (NRSP)
Under the NRSP Program, in collaboration with Pakistan Bait-ul-Mal, PPHF runs another school that supports 120 students. Many of these students have already passed high school, and the school remains a pillar of opportunities for children in underserved areas.
Building Skills for a Sustainable Future
Through PPHF’s Free Education Program, approximately 1,000 young girls across Pakistan have acquired essential skills such as sewing, cooking, beauty care, and computer literacy. These skills empower them to contribute economically and create better futures for themselves and their families.
Quality Education with Exceptional Teachers
Our schools are proud to have the best teachers, whose dedication and expertise inspire and guide students toward success. Many of the girls studying here were previously idle at home, but with our teachers’ efforts, they have excelled both academically and vocationally.
Our teachers ensure students achieve outstanding results, with higher secondary education pass rates exceeding 90% in the Punjab Board. These exceptional outcomes are a testament to their hard work and commitment to excellence.
Grade Levels Offered
We offer a comprehensive curriculum with the following grade levels:
- Playgroup, Nursery, and Prep
- Grades 1 to 10
- 11th and 12th Standards (Higher Secondary)
Our schools provide a holistic learning environment that combines academic education with practical skills training, ensuring our students are prepared for both higher education and independent livelihoods.
Transforming Lives, One Student at a Time
The students of PPHF’s schools consistently excel, achieving Punjab Board results exceeding 90%, a reflection of the rigorous education and guidance they receive. Beyond academics, they are equipped with income-generating skills to secure their futures.
Many of these students were once limited to labor work or sitting idle at home. Today, they are thriving, confident individuals contributing to their families and communities, thanks to the opportunities provided by PPHF.
Join Us in Empowering Education
PPHF has already changed countless lives across Pakistan, but there is still much work to be done. We seek your support to continue and expand our educational empowerment programs, ensuring every child and young adult has access to quality education and a brighter future. Together, we can create lasting change.
History of the Pakistan Public Help Foundation (PPHF) and the Establishment of the Rising Generation School
The Pakistan Public Help Foundation (PPHF) launched the Rising Generation School with a mission to address a critical gap in education for underserved children, particularly girls, in Pakistan. The initiative was born out of a deep concern for the countless children, especially young girls, who had to abandon their education at an early stage, often after completing only one or two grades of primary school. These children were left at home, idle, and deprived of the opportunity to build a brighter future.
The Vision Behind the Rising Generation School
The Rising Generation School was established as a specialized institution to fast-track the education of such children and provide them with an opportunity to catch up with their peers. Unlike traditional schools where the curriculum spans 12 to 16 years, the Rising Generation School condenses this curriculum into just two years. The accelerated program is specifically designed to cater to students who had dropped out of the education system but possess the desire and determination to learn.
The Need for This Unique Approach
In Pakistan, many children—especially girls—are forced to leave school due to financial, cultural, or social barriers. Recognizing this, PPHF identified a critical need to offer an alternative system that would allow these children to regain their education without the prolonged timeline of traditional schooling.
The initiative places a special focus on girls because they are disproportionately affected by societal restrictions and lack of access to education. By equipping them with knowledge and skills, PPHF aims to empower young women to become educated, confident contributors to society.
How the Program Works
The two-year program focuses on delivering the most essential elements of education in a highly efficient and effective manner.
- Initial Six Months:
- The first six months are dedicated to covering the basics of three core subjects:
- Urdu: To ensure proficiency in the national language.
- English: To build communication skills and open global opportunities.
- Mathematics and Algebra: To develop problem-solving and logical thinking abilities.
- These subjects lay a strong foundation for understanding the more advanced material in higher grades.
- Next 18 Months:
- The remaining 18 months are used to cover the curriculum of grades 9, 10, 11, and 12.
- This comprehensive approach ensures that students can complete the equivalent of 16 years of education within two years.
The Commitment of PPHF
The program requires extraordinary dedication from both teachers and students. Unlike traditional schools, the Rising Generation School operates year-round, with no long summer or winter vacations. This rigorous schedule reflects the urgency of the mission—to help students recover lost time and secure a better future as quickly as possible.
Impact and Future Goals
The Rising Generation School stands as a beacon of hope for children who had once believed that their educational journey was over. By empowering young girls with education, PPHF is not only changing individual lives but also contributing to the creation of a more equitable and progressive society.
Through this initiative, PPHF envisions a future where no child in Pakistan is left behind, and young girls, in particular, are given the tools they need to become proud, educated women who can lead and inspire others.
